Originally born and raised in the Cornhusker State, Brett earned a degree in Agricultural Economics with an emphasis in Banking and Finance from the University of Nebraska. Right out of college, he accepted a role as an Agricultural and Commercial lender, further adding to his knowledge of mortgage lending. Later, he became Vice President of a bank and personally managed a portfolio spanning $50 million in loans. After moving to Dillon, Colorado to work as an investment advisor for Edward Jones, Brett grew his book of business by 57% in assets, then set his sights on a career where every facet of his skillset could be used.
